Σεθ (Seth), the Greek form of Egyptian
Swtkh (reconstructed as
Sutekh), which possibly means "pillar" or "dazzle". Seth was the Egyptian god of chaos and the desert, the slayer of
Osiris. Orisis' son
Horus eventually defeats Seth and has him banished to the desert.
